1. Business Location
Latino's Mexican restaurant & bar is located at 1315 Parade St.,
Second Floor, Erie, PA 16503, in the heart of the "Parade Corridor".
|
| |
2. Company Goals
After depth study of the current market position of the American restaurants,
we got the impression that the American taste for ethnic food is increasing
at a rapid pace. The ethnic cuisine, specially the Mexican, is growing
quite substantially. A good trend indicator is the volume of "salsa"
and tortilla chips sales in recent years. It is also our impression
that the shift in restaurant needs is merely an indicator of what's
to come. As we moved into the 21st century and as the "globalization"
concept matures, the consumers will demand much more in the way of health
oriented food at reasonable prices served in a very hip surroundings.
In short, we plan to address an emerging market which will continue
to flourish.
 |
To provide the customers
good food value and outstanding service for their dining out dollars.
Establish the company as a leader in the trend toward healthy
dinning.
|
 |
To create a happy working
environment for our employees where they can grow into their potential,
earn a decent living, and count on the company to fulfill their
basic needs.
|
 |
To use the latest technology
available to operate a profitable and efficient Mexican restaurant
& bar. Create profits through well thought of, honest products,
and sound business practices.
|
 |
To work with the community
with a sincere desire to improve the environment and the living
conditions of the local residents. Be able to identify the selfish
from the real causes and commit resources to action to achieve
real tangible goals.
|
 |
To remain flexible
and open minded to be able to adapt to possible new business trends
as they might emerge.

3. Business Description
Mexican Restaurant & Bar Concept and Features
We will emphasize the use of additive-free foods that are low on fat
and designed to give the consumer the feeling of well being that comes
from eating well.
 |
The restaurant concept deals with
a fast service limited menu.
|
 |
The cornerstone of the menu is Mexican
food.
|
 |
The Latino's products will be served
in several different dishes with mild roasted Chiles and Salsa.
|
 |
We also prepare and serve authentic
home made meals. As well as some entrées used in México city to
celebrate holidays and special occasions.
|
 |
The rest of the menu will be comprised
of sandwiches, salads, pastas and grilled fishes and meats enhanced
with fresh salsa.
|
 |
The idea is to strike a balance between
the familiar, the authentic and the new age products thereby attracting
all tastes and age groups.
|
 |
Furthermore, we will feature a bar
which is focused on coffee drinks, juice bar, beer, wine and numerous
new beverages.
|
 |
As a unique feature, we attempt to
incorporate a very high tech level of entertainment, a kind of
virtual reality equipment, which at this point, can be described
as an information village within the Super Information Highway.
|
 |
To promote cultural awareness, we
plan to have ongoing art exhibits in the restaurant. A section
of the restaurant, to be designated as the 'Cultural Corner',
will function as an art gallery where the work of various artists
will be displayed.
